Well, of course, digital transformation is driven by technology. Declining hardware prices, for example for sensors and imbedded systems, progress in the field of AI and also as a result thereof, huge amounts of data, are technical issues.
But at the end of the day we have to ask ourselves how it affects human beings and their working environments. It is probably way to early to make fixed statements but different possible scenarios have to be discussed in an open and honest way. This must be done at political levels as well as within all companies.
